In 2013, The Online Business Agency was founded to provide web design and internet marketing services to progressive business clients. As we gained more and more experience in the industry, we grew into a fractional VP of Sales and Marketing services provider.

What Did We Learn?

The companies that asked for our help, were often concerned about flat or declining sales, were frustrated about their inability to reach their ambitious growth goals, and were unsure how to address a change of market direction or effectively launch new products or services.

The business grew quickly, and we provided these services on a project basis, monthly recurring fixed fee, and/or on a revenue share or equity stake position.

For many clients, we quickly assumed the responsibility for the go-to-market, revenue generation, and company growth strategies for the entire organization.

Our mission statement was to accelerate revenue, maximize profitability and build best-in-class sales and marketing infrastructures – frequently with limited resources and tight budgets.

As such, we designed and deployed creative and innovative tactics to influence prospects at each stage of the buyer journey including; pre-awareness, awareness, education, evaluation, rationalization, decision-making, and ongoing delivery.

In addition, we developed marketing, sales, and customer service KPIs as well as technology roadmaps to create the efficient execution of repeatable, predictable, and scalable revenue-generation processes.

Our past and current clients encompass a wide range of industry verticals – Software-as-a-Service, Technology, Healthcare, Fitness, Martial Arts, Business Consulting, Software Development, Restaurants, Home Improvement, Retail, Group Benefits, Real Estate, Financial Services as well as several stealth start-ups.

As a result of working closely with such a diverse section of businesses, we noticed a commonality in the primary issue within every client – the lack of qualified leads and an inability to provide a consistent and predictable lead flow. This held true even with organizations that had their own sales team.

To address this need, we launched our SaaS offering in 2019 – a suite of marketing and lead generation products.
